How much longer?

Today was not a good day for dad.  He is feeling pretty low both physically and emotionally.  He is hardly drinking or eating and he has very little energy.  He has begun to have a pain in is arm that has caused a little concern for his nurses.  When dad went into the clinic today they pumped him full of all kinds of fluids to try and help him endure.  We can only hope that his cells will engraft sooner than later so that he will start feeling better.  On a lighter note, he has avoided being admitted into the hospital which is the last place he would want to be (today was a close call though).

We have truly felt so much support and love from everyone and have been so appreciative of how many people who have offered to help.  Sometimes it is hard to know how to show dad our love and support with all he is going through.  It can be challenging to know how to help and where to help.  We have decided that one way we can really help is to give mom and dad's house a really good spring cleaning.  We will be deep cleaning their house this Saturday the 19th so that they can come home to a nice clean, disinfected home.  We could use some help from anyone who would like to.  We would like to do inside and out so that mom does not have to worry about the deep cleaning for a while.  We will start around 1:30p.m. and continue until 8:00p.m.  Please feel free to stop by anytime and maybe bring your own cleaning supplies so that there is enough to go around.  Some of the things we are planning on cleaning are walls, cupboards, base boards, floors, windows (in and out), polishing, weeding, leaves and debris, the garage, storage, and pool area.  We feel that this is one way that we can lighten their burden a little.  Much help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you for all your love and prayers.
