Lungs Again

So dad went to see the lung doctor yesterday to have a check up on his lung condition.  He has been on a steroid treatment and Dr Tricot (the cancer doctor) told him that they needed to ween him off as soon as possible because he could not have one of his scans he needs if he was on the steroid.  So they have been weening him off the steroid very quickly but his body is not taking over to produce what he needs to keep feeling good.  The lung doctor told him yesterday that usually people with his lung condition stay on the steroid treatment for six months to a year.  Dad has only been on it for a little over a month.  This is why he has not been feeling as good as a few weeks ago.  They are not sure what will happen trying to get him off of it so fast and are going to keep a close eye on him.
