As you all are wondering, it it that time again that we are not looking forward to. Dad went in for a whole slew of tests yesterday. The tests are in preparation for his next transplant. He had to do an EKG, a cardiogram of the heart performed by the nuclear division, a bunch of blood lab tests, his 4th bone marrow biopsy, a PET/CT scan and a pulmonary function test. They will be getting the results of the test tomorrow when they meet with Dr. Tricot. They do know the results of the pulmonary function test showed that his lungs are only at 87% of what they were before the last transplant. That is probably because of the organized pneumonia that he had for a little while. We will keep everyone updated as best as possible. As you all also know Dad gets some serious chemo on Friday and then again next week and his transplant will happen next week as well.
